The spot where information about information lives

Consumer Reports Update

Last year the Reference Services Committee had to make some difficult choices.  One of the choices was  not to renew print REFERENCE subscriptions to Consumer Reports for 2010.  And the Periodicals Team also opted to reduce the number of circulating print subscriptions to 10 for 2010.  With the information available in both EBSCO MasterFile and the Consumer Reports Online database, we could not continue to duplicate with print copies.

We’re asking you to make sure that your copies of Consumer Reports are not added to the CONREF location–these are circulating items once the new issue has arrived.
