March Free Gale Webinars

Gale Virtual Reference Library

Gale Virtual Reference Library is an online resource of electronic encyclopedias and specialized reference sources — known as eBooks — used for multidisciplinary research. These eBooks provide access to reference materials that had previously been available only in the library. You’ll learn how to conduct basic and advanced searches, how to use the document toolbox and how this easy-to-use tool can help users get the most out of eBooks.

March 16, 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.

History in Context

Now an even more dynamic resource — with a new interface and enhanced functionality — Gale History in Context, formerly History Resource Center, is designed to meet the historical research needs of library users at every level of learning. Attend this training session and learn how to review the general content, construct and employ different search strategies and how to differentiate between basic, person, subject, chronological and advanced search options.

March 16, 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Opposing Viewpoints in Context

Replacing Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center, Gale Opposing Viewpoints in Context represents a fundamental shift in Gale’s approach to product development. Discover everything that’s different and better than ever and learn how to navigate this engaging new resource that gives you the facts on the latest current event topics, as well as the proponent’s and detractor’s arguments.

March 2, 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.

March 29, 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
