Resources About Endangered Species

Oftentimes young students will be required to research an endangered species. In the past, we’ve had print encyclopedias to turn to when we encounter these types of requests, but over time we’ve had to weed out many of these titles due to poor condition or outdated content. As the list of endangered species is constantly evolving publishers are reluctant to create print versions of the list as they will surely be soon outdated.

We would like to be able to add a digital copy of an endangered species encyclopedia to our GVRL collection, but unfortunately the most recent version they currently offer is from 2004 and that is just too dated for our purposes. We are continuing to look out for newer digital versions and when one becomes available we will purchase it.
