I have found that this just plain works. Be out, visible, involved, engaged, and helpful in your community and people will notice and appreciate how the library matters to their life. As long as we connect our work directly to something that matters to the person or organization we’re working with, the connections and relevance are pretty obvious and effective! It’s so satisfying!

I think SIL is wise to strategicallly build partnerships and community outreach into the work we do each day. We can always find ways to do more, while making sure to cultivate and strengthen the relationships we already have.
