Update on the Affordable Care Act

I attended a webinar this morning that updated information about the ACA (Affordable Care Act).  Things are on target for the October 1 open enrollment.  There is a lot of information that is still being developed, but in the meantime I thought that I’d pass along the following:

  • Customers can apply online (preferred because they’ll receive immediate results), on the phone, or in-person working with an IPA (In-Person Assister).  We are working with several agencies to provide some IPA service in some of our buildings.  I’ll keep you updated on our progress.


  • The Washington State Customer Support Center will open on Tuesday, September 3.  Their hours are M-F 7:30 am-8:00 pm.  Help will be available in up to 175 different languages. Call 1-855-WAFINDER (1-855-923-4633) or TTY/TTD 1-855-627-9604
