Verifying Genealogy and Local History RINC

We have added World Vital Records to the list of sources that should be checked when verifying RINCs that are genealogy or local history titles.  How do you know if something is genealogy or local history?  Here are a few clues:

(fill in the blank) family history or family tree

(fill in the blank) county history

Index for birth, marriage, death, or cemetery records

Census (state or federal)

Immigration or naturalization index

Land, plat records

Parish records

And there are many more.  We want our customers to get the information as soon as possible and if it can be found in one of our electronic resources, that meets the need.  If you have any questions, please feel free to ask!
